Gerard graduated with an LLB and a BSc in Psychology in 1991, and after a year working overseas commenced practice in Lower Hutt in 1993. Initially, Gerard practised in general civil litigation with a particular emphasis on family, local government and employment law before specialising in family law. Gerard heads our family law team and as well as supervising our family lawyers his practise comprises relationship property and trust property division, estate litigation and Court appointments as Counsel to represent children in care of children, child protection and estate proceedings. Gerard has been involved in various community organisations and is currently a member of the Downstage Theatre Trust Board. |
