The New Zealand Family Court is a specialist Court that assists members of our community sort out their family issues and ensures that children in our community are protected.

There are many advice and support services that the Court will provide or recommend to you first, depending on the nature of your problem, before the Court provides a formal Court process. For example, many family issues are resolved through Court funded counselling.
